IT'S MY FERSHT BERFDAY!!!

We love our Eli D! We can't believe that he is 1 years old! Elijah had a fun time at his first birthday party when we were down in AZ a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to everyone that came out, but for those of you who committed and then flaked (Chad), Elijah cried later about it and we had to console him. Elijah is pretty set on crawling for now, but one of these days he'll be walking and keeping Liz even more busy.

We also love our Noah T.! (Ha ha... Eli D. and Noah T. I never knew this rhymed before). This was a cool outfit that Noah picked out, with the pushed-up-sleeves-jacket and all. Very cool, Mr. 1980's in this number. Noah is still tearing it up with his Heely's and it's so cool to see him having such a blast.

Kellis Kamping

We had a fun time up at Clints Well this weekend. It was a little chilly and actually started snowing lightly on us as we packed up on the last day. Thanks to Brandon and Kris and others involved in the prep. and planning, we all had a great time.

Hot Rod Car Show

We all picked our favorite cars and snapped these cool pictures. Elijah chose the coolest one I think. It was going to be my pick, but he through a fit and he got his way. NO FAIR!!

Happy Birthday Noah!

Noah is TEN yrs old! Thanks to all the friends and family who came out, and to Kris and Harmony for hosting the event. Bummer about the unexpected chilly weather but we all had fun. In this pic Steve drenched all the dry by-standers. Noah is getting so big and smart. We love our time with him. Happy bday buddy.

We had so much fun camping! The campground is in the middle of the desert in between Vegas and St.George. Howard Hughes use to own the property and we toured his house which overlooked the hot spring. The weather was beautiful. The campground was grassy so we didn't have to worry about Elijah eating dirt/sand again. I can't wait to go back!

The other day Elijah picked up this golf ball and shoved the whole thing in his mouth. It was so hilarious!

Actually, this is obviously not one from California, but it's definately blog worthy. Elijah is a professional "puller-upper" now and is keeping his momma on her toes.

Elijah loved the sand and was going after it ALL DAY, so finally Liz just let him take a bite or two, thinking he would learn his lesson. Well... Liz spent the next couple of days gettin' sand out of his nose, mouth and fingernails. They both had a great time and Eli slept surprising well while in Cali. (I wished we could say the same for when he got back to his own bed). With Elijah being mobile, Liz is understanding more and more that mothering is a (more than) FULL time job with very few (if any) breaks.

EXCITING WEEKEND

So Liz and I had an AWESOME weekend, separately, in California. She went with "the wives club" (the wives of my study buddies) to the beach and stuff where she and Elijah had a great time. I went to Indio, CA on a dental mission with the Flying Doctors and some classmates where we had an incredible time giving injections and yankin' some teeth out. Those who went got a ton of experience and the trip couldn't have gone better. I had a virgin Pina Colada that I'll be dreaming about for months. When I get Liz's pics I'll add 'em... so stay tuned!

So I was walking out to my car the other night and I thought this looked like a pretty cool picture; with the light, tree and car combination. It was pretty late and I guess I was one of the last to leave the study session. Good 'ol trusty Sentra... she's always there when I need her the most!

So Elijah has been making this funny face for the last week or two. It is so funny. It looks like he is crying, but he just squints his eyes and then shows his teeth in a big crazy smile. We do it back and forth with him until Liz and I can't laugh anymore.

So Liz and Elijah came to visit me at school today and it was GREAT. The weather was awesome and besides a little attitude from Eli D., it was perfect. I don't really have any fun news or anything, I just wanted to add these cool pictures of my drop dead gorgeous wife and squishy face little boy. We miss yall and hope everyone is doing well!
