Actually, this is obviously not one from California, but it's definately blog worthy. Elijah is a professional "puller-upper" now and is keeping his momma on her toes.

Elijah loved the sand and was going after it ALL DAY, so finally Liz just let him take a bite or two, thinking he would learn his lesson. Well... Liz spent the next couple of days gettin' sand out of his nose, mouth and fingernails. They both had a great time and Eli slept surprising well while in Cali. (I wished we could say the same for when he got back to his own bed). With Elijah being mobile, Liz is understanding more and more that mothering is a (more than) FULL time job with very few (if any) breaks.

How cute is Eli? I just want to kiss him. He looks adorable in his swim trunks. Can't wait to hold him again.
I'm so glad Liz got to go to California with the girls. She must get so lonely and overwhelmed with you being gone so much. It's so great she could spend time with other moms. Recharge her batteries.
Someday you guys will get to go on vacations TOGETHER! :) For now, you get to live vicariously through each other.
